How to Explain to Clients Why They Pay Monthly - Dealing with Client's Reluctant to Pay
We've all been there: setting up with what seems like a great client only to be asked the dreaded question. Why am We paying monthly? Can't We pay a fixed fee once and get all the SEO done? Client's don't understand how the SEO process works. They have no concept of the amount of time, money and skill that goes into ranking a website. Your client will most likely see SEO as waving a magic wand and having the Google fairy bump their website up. Sadly, this isn't the case. Paying monthly is the only sensible way as SEO is an ongoing process. We all know this, so, how do you explain to a client why they have to pay monthly? Well, you have two options. You can either take the time to explain and argue as to why the payment is structured as such, or you can take the more sensible route and choose to not work with the client. You don't want to be stuck with a client who doesn't want to pay. They're to be avoided at all costs.
