When to Give Up on a Client - Saying No to Client's
The customer is always right, right? No. Every SEO has had to deal with client's that have no idea what they're asking for. So, when do you give up on a client? At what point do you have to say no? Well, it depends. Some clients just need a bit of guidance and can be talked around to accept that you know what you're talking about. However, that's unfortunately not the case every time. Some clients will insist that you do it their way. So, what do you do in these instances? While it may seem like giving up a client is counter-productive, it is sometimes the smartest choice. In business, time is money. Do you really want to spend time arguing with a client who doesn't know what they're talking about? Or, do you want to spend your time working with clients that are a lot less hassle? We know what I'd choose. So, if you have a client that looks like they're going to be trouble, drop them. Save yourself the grief of months worth of frustration just to get a fee. You can make up for it with better clients.
